About the Klaviyo connector

Klaviyo exports to CSV, and Google Sheets opens CSVs. For a one-off, that's all you need.

The free way: export to CSV

Campaigns:

1. Open the Campaigns tab.
2. Open the menu next to View library and choose Export Analytics.
3. Download the CSV. Exports from the last 30 days can be downloaded again under Settings, then Other, then Downloads.

Flows:

1. Open the Flows tab.
2. Click Options, then Export analytics.
3. Choose daily, weekly or monthly, and download the CSV. Only Owners, Admins and Analysts can export flow analytics.

In Google Sheets, choose File, then Import, and upload the CSV.

If your account has Klaviyo's Advanced KDP or Marketing Analytics, its report builder (in beta) can email a report weekly or monthly. It's still a file in an inbox that someone has to paste in.

On a schedule with Fresh Sheets

1. Install Fresh Sheets from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. In your spreadsheet, choose Extensions, then Fresh Sheets, then Open sidebar, and connect your Google account.
3. In Klaviyo, create a private API key under Settings, then API keys, with read access to accounts, campaigns, flows and metrics.
4. In your Fresh Sheets account, open Sources and paste the key. It's checked before anything is saved.
5. Back in the sidebar, click New report, choose Klaviyo, then Campaign performance or Flow performance, and the conversion event to count.
6. Pick your fields, set the dates and a schedule, choose the tab, and click Save and run.

What lands in the tab

Campaign reports show campaign, tag and channel. Flow reports show flow and message. Both carry recipients, delivered, opens, clicks and conversions, with delivery, open, click, click-to-open, conversion, bounce, unsubscribe and spam complaint rates. A campaign or flow message counts in the date range it was sent. Where Klaviyo has no figure, the cell is left blank rather than showing 0.

Good to know

• Klaviyo reports have no filters.
• A report holds up to 1,000 rows, and date ranges can run up to 365 days.
• Klaviyo allows 225 reporting requests a day per account, and each run uses one.
• We ask for read access only, and our code refuses anything that isn't a read before it's sent.
