- It runs whether the spreadsheet is open or not. Refreshes happen on our servers, so the numbers are current when you open the file, not when you remember to.
Setting it up

- 01Add Fresh Sheets to a spreadsheet and connect your Google account, then add a private API key from Klaviyo, with read access, on your connections page.
- 02Pick campaign or flow performance, the fields you want, and the event that counts as a conversion.
- 03Say which tab it writes to and how often it refreshes.
Access
What it can see, and what it cannot
Fresh Sheets connects to Klaviyo with a private API key that you create in your own Klaviyo account and add to your Fresh Sheets account. There is no sign-in screen, and you decide what the key can do when you create it.
Fresh Sheets asks for read access to accounts, campaigns, flows and metrics, and checks the key with Klaviyo before saving it. A key that does not work, or cannot read all four, is refused and nothing is stored.
Our code only ever reads from Klaviyo, even if the key you create allows more. It never creates, edits, sends or deletes a campaign, a list, a profile or anything else in your account, and it refuses any request to Klaviyo that is not a read before the request is sent.
The key is stored encrypted and is never shown back to you. You can replace or remove it at any time on your connections page. Removing it stops the reports that read through it and leaves what they already wrote in your spreadsheets. It does not delete the key inside Klaviyo, which is yours to delete there.
Writing into your spreadsheet still goes through your Google account. Fresh Sheets asks for its Google data permissions in one consent screen, so you will see Google Analytics, Google Ads and Search Console listed there even if you only report on Klaviyo. Writing happens only in the spreadsheets you pick, one at a time, through Google's own file picker. Fresh Sheets never sees the rest of your Drive. Fresh Sheets never changes anything you did not ask it to.
Your data is never sold and never used to train anything.

Questions
Can you export Klaviyo data to Google Sheets?
Yes. Fresh Sheets writes Klaviyo campaign and flow performance into a spreadsheet you already have, in a tab you choose, on a schedule, without the file being open.
What counts as a conversion?
The event you choose, report by report, from the events your Klaviyo account records. If nothing in your account looks like a purchase, Fresh Sheets asks you to choose rather than picking one for you.
How often can it refresh?
Choose the schedule when you build the report, and it runs on our servers from then on. How often depends on your plan: every day on Plus, every 6 hours on Pro and every hour on Max.
How many rows can one report return?
Up to 1,000. If a report reaches that, it says so.
Does it change anything in Klaviyo?
No. Fresh Sheets only reads from Klaviyo. It never creates, edits, sends or deletes a campaign, a list, a profile or anything else in your account.
