About the TikTok Ads connector

TikTok Ads Manager will build you a report and email it on a schedule. Getting it into a spreadsheet is still your job.

The free way: custom reports

1. In TikTok Ads Manager, open Analytics, then Custom reports.
2. Build your report and run it for export to download it.
3. In Google Sheets, choose File, then Import, and upload the file.

To have it sent regularly, set a schedule on the report. TikTok emails it to up to five addresses, usually 5 to 6 hours after the data is processed.

On a schedule with Fresh Sheets

1. Install Fresh Sheets from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. In your spreadsheet, choose Extensions, then Fresh Sheets, then Open sidebar, and connect your Google account.
3. In your Fresh Sheets account, open Sources, click Connect TikTok, sign in on TikTok's page and choose the ad accounts to share.
4. Back in the sidebar, click New report, choose TikTok Ads, then the level: ad account, campaign, ad group or ad.
5. Pick your fields, set the dates and a schedule, choose the tab, and click Save and run.

What lands in the tab

Day, ad account and currency at every level, plus campaign, ad group and ad names and IDs down to the level you pick. Metrics: impressions, clicks (destination), reach, conversions, spend, cost per click (destination), cost per thousand impressions and cost per conversion. Money shows in your ad account's currency.

Good to know

• Deleted campaigns, ad groups and ads are included, so past spend doesn't vanish when you tidy up.
• With Day in the report, any date range works. Without it, ranges run up to 365 days.
• A report holds up to 50,000 rows.
• Fresh Sheets asks TikTok only for reporting and ad account access, and our code only ever reads.
